Do you know 2023 was the hottest year in the last hundred years?

It was 1.45 °C hotter than pre-industrial temperatures. 1.5 °C is the threshold below which we are supposed to maintain the Earth’s surface temperatures. Otherwise, we will cross some tipping points, and climate change will become irreversible. 50% of days of 2023 exhibited temperatures more than 1.5 °C above pre-industrial average. Two days in November 2023, temperatures were hotter than the pre-industrial average by more than 2 °C. The ring of sea ice surrounding Antarctica shrank to its lowest in 2023. The global carbon dioxide emissions jumped by 1.1% in 2023. Carbon dioxide emissions must be reduced urgently. UN climate chief says we have just two years left to save the world.

Do you know we are developing zero-emission hydrogen production technology at Hyurja?
