It gives me pleasure
It pains me to see that people are ignorant of the fact that 2024 was the hottest year on record.
It pains me to see that people are unaware of the link between carbon dioxide emissions, global temperature, and rising sea levels.
It pains me to see that people remain unmoved by the impact of climate crises in faraway locations.
It pains me to see that people forget the loss of their loved ones in a climate catastrophe.
It pains me to see that people carry on with business as usual in the face of the catastrophic events triggered by climate change.
It pains me to see that people ignore the dangers of climate change predicted by thousands of scientific studies.
It pains me to see that people do not acknowledge the fact that there can be NO life on a dead planet.
It pains me to see leaders succumb to the lure of fossil fuel money.
It pains me to see that the choice of fossil fuel will put the lives of future generations at risk.
It pains me to see policymakers ignore the enormity of the Net Zero goal and propose simple solutions, such as scaling up.
It pains me to see policymakers turn a blind eye to the fact that a one GW/day yearly capacity increase in renewables is required for the next twenty-five years to come close to the Net zero goal.
It pains me that the world has focused on “energy-loosing” electrolysis or dirty SMR technologies over “energy-efficient” methane cracking technology.

It gives me pleasure that there is a growing community of people who are concerned about climate change.
It gives me pleasure that in recent years, many people have devoted all their resources to solving the climate crisis.
It gives me pleasure that governments worldwide have allocated vast amounts to research grants for developing technologies for climate change mitigation.
It gives me pleasure that huge investment flows to corporations and startups working on climate change mitigation.
It gives me pleasure that government support for climate change adaptation and loss & damage programs exists.
It gives me pleasure that the world is moving in the right direction, albeit slowly.
It gives me pleasure that at Hyurja (https://www.hyurja.com/ ), we are at a threshold of developing an energy-efficient methane cracking technology with zero-emission.
It gives me pleasure to think that we will remove 10.9 tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere when we produce 1 ton of hydrogen from bio-methane cracking.
Unless I experience pain, I do not know what pleasure is!
